ABOUT ME

I offer a safe and respectful environment to enable you to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours in a non judgemental, confidential space. I have experience of working with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement, work related stress, family difficulties and low self esteem.

I am a person centred counsellor offering appointments in Burton-on-Trent, with many years experience of working one to one with clients of varied ages, backgrounds and difficulties. I previously worked as a volunteer counsellor at West Leicestershire Mind for 5 years. As well as running my private practice I also work at Burton and District Mind.

I offer both short term and longer term therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

  Certificate in Counselling Studies

  Certificate in Counselling Skills

I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of practice and ethical standards www.bacp.co.uk

I offer an initial no-obligation session to enable you and I to meet to discuss your hopes and expectations for counselling. This session allows us to meet each other to find out if we are both happy to begin working together.

Work together

If after the initial no-obligation session we choose to continue counselling sessions together, these sessions will be reviewed between us on a regular basis going forward.

The cost is £40 per 50 minute session.
